From, the first time I saw your face.
I, didn’t know what to do.
I, just wanted to be with you.
So, I really didn’t think things through.
I, just gave away my heart to you.
Now, you’ve taken it all away.
And, left me here all alone.
You, did it all so casually.
You, clearly never did love me.

Why do sharp edges shine?
You cannot always choose how you feel.
Sharp edges shine.
A moth to a flame.
You can always choose what you do with how you feel.
Sharp edges shine but not as bright as the light within.

I made you my everything.
Why should I think that you would feel the same?
I should have loved myself first.

Freedom isn’t doing what you want.
Freedom is not needing another's validation.
