What is Life

What is life, a shadow made from light.
Tough and tenacious, life is harsh.
Fragile and fleeting, ireoke jabiloun.

Young born old, the wind and sky.
Dancing waves and prancing hooves.
The water edge a beginnings end.
Thoughts once new an ancient tome.
Kneel down the cradle grave.
And in your heart love you save.

Tough and tenacious, life is harsh.
Fragile and fleeting, ireoke jabiloun.
Sing to me a song of spring.
Melting snow to flowers bright.
Stars still shine both day and night.
Your eyes see none when in the sun but be quite sure that all are there.

Come now dance and sing and make a soaring dream.
The empty void unbound is rich where endless possibilities flow.
You make your way and the path will always take you home.

What is life, a shadow made from light.
It is your voyage through the timeless night.
Passing stars so brief their light.
That is life; everything, more and nothing less.
