Chapter Fifteen:  Multiple Missions

Delegation Deluge
Having effectively accepted the challenge of meeting Yena's requests (after all, Dean Eobseo had been right there and he didn't say no), it was now time to delegate. First, they decided to call the Children's Hospital show "Yena's Dream.” Next, they needed volunteers, which were plentiful, so recruiting them wasn't difficult. AnKa would hit Jimmy up about LuLu Belle; TabGra would continue working with AmSque on the Pinedale show; the Dean would work with Eugene on the Children's Hospital logistics; and YuSa dedicated themselves to helping Tinsley, as well as trying to keep her from overdoing it. All the while EinBi, along with Jisook and her crew, would work tirelessly to make sure that this explosion of activity was well-documented so that "Crumpets go to School'' could be a success.

The first small snag came when Jisook realised that her three camera crews would not be enough to film all of the goings-on.

When she expressed her concerns to the group, Dean Eobseo casually told her, "Fear not, we have many cameras and well-trained videography students. In fact I am guessing that once we put the word out, you will have more volunteers than you can possibly manage."

Before Jisook could respond to the Dean's offer, Enid looked up from the tablet she was working on and said, "We have three volunteers so far and the replies are just starting to roll in."

Everyone in the room looked at her with bewilderment and Jisook sputtered, "Three already? How? Dean Eobseo just made the offer?!"

Enid shrugged and replied, "I type fast and many students are on break between class so they were already surfing."

"May I see?" Kari asked as she moved to look over Enid's shoulder. Her eyes narrowed and she said, "I knew it. She used lingo. Our seniors are using our lingo again!"

"What did she post?" Sarah asked.

Kari replied, "Need cam-dols 4 CGTS."

Sarah shook her head and said, "And some people say old people can't learn, when clearly they can."

Naturally Enid was shocked by Sarah's savagery, but with maturity comes restraint, so she decided to save her revenge for later.

With everything in order, the group gave a quick "LG/ZBC Fighting!" cheer and headed out to begin their respective tasks. Crumpet Hall quickly went from a beehive of activity to dead silence, and since Eugene was in therapy at that moment, Dean Eobseo once again found himself alone in the Crumpets’ TV area, wondering what he should do with himself.

Crickets
AnKa headed out to the South classrooms to intercept Jimmy, who was just finishing with class and was wandering up to Thornbury for lunch. When they spotted him, he had several Crickets in tow. What are Crickets you ask? Well, usually crickets are creepy little members of the Gryllidae family of insects. However in this case, they were the members of Jimmy's in-Glass fan base. The Crickets were mostly young female students who followed Jimmy around and scattered whenever sunbaes (older students) came near. As is the case with some fandoms, the Crickets named themselves, and Jimmy never had the heart to tell them that their name didn't really work as his name isn't “Jiminy.” At any rate, the instant the Crickets noticed AnKa and the film crew, they scurried away.

"Jimmster, Jimarino, the Jiminator, where did your minions run off to?" Kari called out whilst waving like a Wacky-Waving-Arm-Inflatable-Flailing-Tube Man.

Jimmy shook his head and said, "Crickets, Kari, they are called Crickets."

"But you're not Jiminy," Kari batted back.

"Aigo, Analey is being quiet and kkab-Kari is in full kkab mode. This is a big one isn't it?" he remarked.

At this point Kari turned off her kkab and Analey picked it up (with aegyo), exclaiming "Oppa, this is super big — something only you can handle!"

Jimmy's look of derision while he replied was epic. "Well, this oppa is hungry, so we will need to discuss this over lunch."

AnKa squealed with delight and started singing, "Lunch, lunch, we're gonna bribe you with lunch, lunch."

Jimmy muttered to himself, "Heol, this must be a really, really big one."

When AnKaJi arrived at Thornbury, AnKa insisted that Jimmy get anything he wanted.

"Considering that meals are part of our tuition, I fail to see how this constitutes a bribe," Jimmy said snarcastically.

"He is right," Analey replied. Then she elbowed Kari and said with a wink, "But this is," whereupon AnKa each gave Jimmy a kiss on the cheek. Jimmy's only reaction was a small squeak before bumbling about like a drunken sailor. Kari found an empty table and Analey guided their now completely disarmed victim to it.

Peeping LuLu
After giving Jimmy some time to snap out of it and get some food in his stomach, AnKa explained the LuLu Belle concept to him. After hearing them out, Jimmy shrugged and said, "Well, when we reconfigured her for use at Ravenhurst, we set her up to fit on the school’s lowboy trailer, so getting her to the hospital isn't much of a problem. But you already know that, so there must be something more to this?"

Analey cleared her throat, "Well, yes there is. You see, some of the children won't be able to leave their beds, so LuLu will need to go to them."

Jimmy choked a bit and replied (in as soft-but-serious a tone as he could muster), "Analey, there is no way we can fit LuLu into the hallways and rooms of the hospital."

Analey laughed, "We know that. What we need is for LuLu to look into the windows at them. We just need to lift her up a bit."

Jimmy looked nearly as dazed as he did when they kissed him. Shaking it off, he pointed out that the hospital was a five-story building with windows on the east and west sides, thus requiring LuLu to be mobile while also needing to be able to be lifted up at least ten meters or so.

"See, we knew you would understand," Kari said as she patted his shoulder.

Jimmy looked at her and said, "Oh, I understand, and I also understand that you are planning on doing this show within the month, yes?" The bright, cheshire cat smile he received back told him that LuLu’s appearance wasn't optional, so he said,  "Eotteokhae, I guess the first thing to do is to find out exactly where and how high LuLu will need to go. For example, are patient rooms in fact on all of the floors and on both sides of the building?"

Analey perked up and asked, "Didn't Daejoon work at the Children's Hospital before he became your nurse?"

"Good thinking," Jimmy said and proceeded to call him.

It turned out that Analey's thinking was indeed good, as they were able to find out that the hospital was organised such that the ambulatory patients were on the higher floors, and the bedridden children were on the lower floors. This bit of information was a game-changer, as now they only needed LuLu to be able to peek into the rooms on the second and third floors. Because LuLu could rear up pretty high they now only needed to get her base up off of the ground by about four or five meters. Unfortunately, they also confirmed that there were rooms on both sides of the hospital, so mobility was still a must.

While AnKaJi were machinating on how to lift LuLu while simultaneously making her mobile, all in a few weeks’ time and with a very limited budget, Yulia, Sarah and Jisook came in covered in leaves and looking like they had just been attacked by Kodiak marmosets. Before anyone could say anything, Tinsley came stumbling in behind them, looking even worse with a bunch of twigs sticking out of her hair.

Without disclosing the nature of their shenanigans, TinYuSookSa high-fived each other and staggered over to the ice cream bar, happily singing Orange Caramel's "Lipstick," and doing the dance as they went.

"Wow, they really have the drunken sailor dance down, and dang, Sookiemonster is good," Kari said admiringly with Analey nodding in agreement.

Jimmy gave them a side glance and said, "Seriously, your first thoughts are how well they are singing and dancing and not about what the heck happened to them?"

Root Beer Floats
While Jimmy watched from the table, Bartender Bob made root beer floats for TinYuSookSa. It seemed that they were regaling him with their story about what happened to make them such a mess, which drove Jimmy positively nuts with curiosity. Meanwhile, AnKa were still on about how good Jisook was. With Bob still laughing over their story, TinYuSookSa came over to AnKaJi’s table, and plopped down with their refreshments.

Before Jimmy could get a word in edgewise, AnKa started spastically praising Jisook, going on about every detail of her brief, impromptu performance. This prompted some low key jealousy from YuSaTin, who said, "We were performing too, you know," but AnKa ignored this and stayed focused on Jisook.

Finally, Jimmy could take no more and exclaimed, "For the love of Hallyu, why are you covered with leaves?!"

Everyone looked at him, and then Sarah began, "So, we were down looking at the Barge and…"

Jimmy interrupted, "The Barge! That's it, we can use the Barge!" Pulling back from the table he asked where Tabitha was.

Yulia answered, "I think she's at Soshi with EinBeGra."

"Great. I need some engineering math. Thanks for lunch, TTFN, and such," he said and raced away with AnKa in hot pursuit, calling after him, "Jimmy, slow down! We need to be in the loop, Jimmy!"

TinYuSookSa were now alone at their table with a sea of Lookzens and cameras staring at them. While they enjoyed their refreshments, a couple of hoobaes (younger students) shyly came over and asked if they were okay.

Sarah was first to respond. "Yes, we are fine, we were just…," when suddenly Tinsley interrupted her: "Say, how would you guys like to earn some money raking up some leaves down in the composting bay?"

Galloping Gertie
While Tinsley negotiated with the hoobaes, who it seems had worked for her in the past and were being very careful about understanding the 'fine print' of her offer, Jimmy found Tabitha at Soshi, and greeted her by exclaiming, "Galloping Gertie!"

EinBeGraAn all cocked an eyebrow at Jimmy's strange remark and were further perplexed when Tabitha bowed to them and very politely said, "Please excuse me."

TabJi then headed over to a corner and quickly fell into a very serious conversation, leaving their comrades bewildered and befuddled. As the group looked on, it dawned on them that Kari didn't seem the slightest bit confused, so when she casually said, "Well, I guess our work here is done," they all turned to her and demanded to know what this business with 'Galloping Gertie' was all about.

A bit taken aback, Kari replied, "You know the bridge that collapsed due to a design defect, Engineering 101?"

At this point, Analey perked up. "Oh yea, now I remember. Tabitha conned all of us into taking that engineering class with her when we were Juniors. That was the first and last time all six of us took a class together. Poor Professor Farquharson, we really should send him some cookies or something."

The question that still remained, for EinBeGra anyway, was what TabJi were engineering, so Enid asked for specifics.

"Oh, they are trying to figure out how to get LuLu Belle up high enough to look into the windows at the Children's Hospital,” Kari replied.

"Why don't they just use a container forklift?" Bess inquired.

Everyone looked at her with surprise and Analey chimed out, "That is a good idea. Should we suggest it to them?"

Kari became very thoughtful and said, "No, I think we should let them struggle with it a little. They haven't had a chance to do a bunch of math and overthink things in awhile. I say we just leave it to them."

The group agreed and decided to go to Thornbury to find out what had happened to TinYuSookSa instead.

On their way up the hill, EinBeGraAnKa encountered a clutch of hoobae heading in the opposite direction. The young students were so busy looking at something, they almost didn't notice that they were about to bump into Kari, so she decided to mess with them a little. "Ahem! Manners, gentlemen! Manners," she chided.

When they looked up and saw that it was Kari that they almost bumped into, they immediately snapped-to and stammered, "Annyeonghaseyo Kwon Kari Ssi."

Kari greeted them properly and asked what they were looking at.

One of them sheepishly held out his hand and revealed that the object of their distraction was a fan card of none other than Kari herself. Now, this situation would be surprising enough just based on the fact that the boys had nearly bumped into the very idol they were admiring, but making matters even more extra was the fact that the Crumpets didn't yet have fan cards in circulation. Torn between flattery and suspicion over the source (and thus the authenticity) of the fan card, Kari tried to ask them about its origin in as un-accusing a manner as she could.

Regardless of her efforts, the boys seemed unsure of how to answer, but finally one stammered, "Tinsley Ssi gave it to us, along with some money to get us to rake up leaves for her."

Grinning a bit, Kari said, "Oh, that Tinsley. I hope she gave you a decent amount of money ‘cuz this card isn't worth much. Regardless, I can sign it, if you like?"

Naturally Kari's offer was quickly accepted. When she was done, the boys trotted off with their prize, and Kari sprinted to catch up to EinBeGraAn, who hadn't even realized that she had stopped.

Papercup Cats
When the group arrived at Thornbury, they found that TinYuSookSa were still there and still a disheveled mess, but because they were in the middle of a vidcon that sounded like official business, they weren't able to interrupt to ask what had made them such a disaster. Kari, who was very anxious to get the skinny on the fan card, sat at a neighboring table twiddling her thumbs whilst, unsuccessfully, trying not to stare. Meanwhile EinBeGraAn went to grab some refreshments.

Returning with the goodies, Bess set a banana uyu in front of Kari, who completely ignored it and instead stared at the back of Tinsley's head like a cat watching a bird. Instinctually Bess reached over, pulled the little straw off of the carton and stabbed it into the box, but there was still no reaction from Kari. Following her maternal instincts, Bess held the box of milk up and put the straw to Kari's lips. Without breaking her gaze, Kari drank the milk but made no effort to hold the box for herself. Despite being a bit burdened by holding it, Bess did so dutifully until Kari noisily slurped up the last of the milk, and the empty box collapsed with the suction. No sooner had Kari finished than the vidcon ended, and with Kari leading the assault, EinBeGraAnKa rushed over in full beagle mode with a whirlwind of questions.

Wide-eyed and perplexed, TinYuSookSa tried to make sense of the barrage of questions. Finally Tinsley, practically shouting, blurted out, "Papercup cats!"

Whether it was her tone of voice or what she said, EinBeGraAnKa promptly became silent.

With the pace of an auctioneer, Tinsley said, "I designed a temporary fanlight made out of paper cups but I decided to change to plastic cups due to their transparency. CSCSG (Convenience Store Crush on Sarah Guy) is going to help us get them printed, Ava and the Familiars are going to get us cases of LED flashlights from the bulk goods warehouse in Bay City, and Yulia's grandfather, along with the other seniors are going to help us assemble them. Where is Tabitha?"

Capri Pants
Not surprisingly, EinBeGraAnKa still had a lot of questions for Tinsley, but it was Kari who would have hers answered first. "Tabitha is with Jimmy, working on peeping LuLu. Now what is the story with the fan card you gave to the hoobaes?" she inquired.

Tinsley calmly replied, "Good, I need to kill zombies. As for the card, it’s a prototype. I made it to show you guys to see what you think."

Kari's eyes narrowed. "But you are the face of the group. Why didn't you make the first one of you?"

Tinsley squared off with Kari and replied, "Because I took that picture of you last week and I thought it looked good."

"But I was wearing your pants; you must have an angle," Kari batted back suspiciously.

"My pants look like capris on you and really show off your svelteness, which bugs me, but I have to admit that you looked great," Tinsley answered while she pulled a twig out of her hair.

Kari's eyes got big. "Oh. That is very sweet. Wanna go kill zombies?"

Pulling another errant twig from her hair, Tinsley said, "Yes. Team TinKa?"

Kari smiled and replied, "Team KaTin."

With that EinBeGraAnKaTinYuSookSa all headed out to Crumpet Hall.

As they filed out of Thornbury, Jisook leaned into Sarah and said, "So KaTin are pants rivals and Tabitha doesn't like killing zombies?"

Sarah answered, "Yes, they are pants rivals and Tabby doesn't like any 'killing,' even if it is virtual, so we can only play Zombie Zap when Tabitha is otherwise located."

"Why don't you just refer to it as zapping instead of killing then?" Jisook inquired.

Sarah pondered this and replied, "That is a very devious maneuver. I like it. I think we are starting to rub off on you."

With that SookSa started singing Red Velvet's "Happiness" and ran ahead of the group like completely spastic dorks. As far as I can tell, SookSa's sudden burst of singing was completely random and had no point, but that is what they did so I am writing it down. At any rate, Sookie's camera crew just shrugged and kept filming them as one crewmember said, "Well, I guess she can edit this bit out if she wants."

Completely caught up in SookSa's antics, AnKaTinYu dorked out and joined the impromptu performance, leaving EinBeGra, who were not in the slightest caught up in it, to their quiet stroll and conversation while the camera crew struggled to keep up with the now hard-charging beagles.

Enid leaned into Bess and said, "You realize that we are never going to find out why they are covered in leaves."

"Oh, I think we will find out,” Bess replied. “One day, months from now, they will be talking about it and, as usual, we will have no idea what they are on about."

Zombie Zap
Back at the ranch Kari and Tinsley dove into the TV area and started zapping zombies while everyone else gathered in the kitchen area.

"It is so weird how they can be simultaneously cute and terrifyingly savage when they are zapping zombies," Analey commented as she watched them play the video game. Everyone agreed and settled in to observe the strange and somewhat disturbing way that TinKa released their stress.

While TinKa were riding the world of the undead, a call came in from the front gate. Yulia saw that it was AmSque, casually buzzed them in, then wandered over to open the front door for them.

When Yulia opened the door, Amber was already right there on the front step, which gave her a bit of a start. "Oh geez! Dang it, Amber, you are way too fast! Look, Squeaker is still only halfway up the drive," Yulia said as she waved to him.

Amber replied, "Pfft, I'm too fast. I think you mean you're too slow," and started bouncing around about like a boxer getting ready for a fight.

Squeaker came up behind her and said, "Dang it, Amber, you're too fast."

Amber spun around. "It's like you guys are all old or something. I can't help it that I am at the top of my game."

Yulia shook her head and responded, "I think someone got into the Z-Edge, yes?"

At first Amber tried to deny that caffeine had anything to do with her enthusiasm, but she was quickly called out by Squeaker, who pointed out that she had not only consumed her own bottle of the beverage, but that she had also stolen and drank his. Amber brushed this off and pointed out that she was merely saving Squeaker from himself as he wasn’t the kind of person who could handle his Z-Edge very well.

Yulia laughed and said, "She has a point, Squeaker. You didn't get your nickname for nothing."

When they arrived in the kitchen, Amber leaned on the counter and nodded toward the TV area. "Has Tabby gotten over her repulsion of killing zombies?" she asked.

Sarah giggle-snorted a bit and said, "Oh no, Tabby is much too squishy for that, so we are changing the term. Sookie thinks we should just refer to it as zapping."

Amber nodded in agreement but then cocked an eyebrow and said, "Wait a minute, you are the squishiest of the Crumpets. How come you don't mind kil…I mean zapping zombies?"

While Sarah was contemplating this, Yulia patted her on the back and said, "Turns out that our tender-hearted maknae here is actually a vicious zombie-zapper."

Sarah blushed and said, "It's true, I'm a badass."

Everyone except Squeaker laughed. Yulia looked at him and noticed that he was staring at Sarah with his mouth hanging open and exclaimed, "Oh for crying out loud, you have a crush on Sarah too! Is there anyone who doesn't have a crush on her?!"

Kari hollered out, "I don't!"

"Not to steal Sarah's thunder, but I am guessing that Tabitha isn't here?" Amber interjected.

"No. Should she be?" Bess answered.

"Well, we were supposed to meet her here to talk about the Pinedale show, but we can catch up with her tomorrow after class," Amber replied. She added, "I think for now the important thing is to get Captain Googly Eyes out of here before he tries to ask Sarah to marry him."

Squeaker glared at Amber, but then quickly looked at Sarah and said, "Unless you want to, of course."

Sarah smiled and replied, "I think I am at least ten years out on any of that, but we can still be friends."

While Squeaker was working on how he would, a decade in the future, propose to Sarah, Amber dragged him away and took him to Thornbury for smoothies.

Forgotten Friends
After TinKa had their fill of zapping they, along with the rest of the group, went back to work on their various projects. Afternoon soon became evening and the Crumpets and their cohorts, without even realising it, worked right through dinner. When the evening grew late and their stomachs began to growl they found themselves at Thornbury and despite the cafeteria being closed, were able to piece together meals out of the vending machines, which were always stocked with a good assortment of leftovers and such.

While they were eating Tinsley said, "Tabby, can you pass me the hot sauce please?" When no reply came she looked up and realized that Tabitha was not with them. Completely freaking out, she shot to her feet and exclaimed, "Heol, Tabby-cat! We forgot about TabJi!"

Not bothering to call to find out where TabJi were, Tinsley raced out of Thornbury. Jisook looked to the group and said, "Does she know where she is going?"

Kari grinned, "If you mean crazy, no, she has no idea. As for finding TabJi, Tinbot is like a bloodhound and she will go straight to them."

The Crumpets all chimed in their agreement, but Analey pointed out that they really needed to get going if they had any chance of keeping up with her. Everyone, except Kari who stayed behind to clean up, dashed out of Thornbury.

Once outside, they looked around and Sarah suddenly exclaimed, "Over there, she is over there!"

Then Yulia called out, "It looks like she is heading to the computer lab!" as they ran after her.

Approaching the lab building, the group nearly collided with Daejoon, who had come out to look for Jimmy. Without missing a step he fell in with them, saying,"Jimmy?"

Jisook, who was jogging along next to him, said, "No, I'm Jisook."

Daejoon laughed and nearly tripped. "Hi, Jisook, I'm Daejoon. Are we going to wherever Jimmy is?"

Before Jisook could answer, the group came to a screeching halt at the entrance to the building.

Heartbreak, Revenge, and More Important Things
Having caught up toTinsely the group entered the building. Once inside, rather than going to the work stations, Tinsley zigged and went toward Hal, the school’s supercomputer. At the end of a hallway lined with generic doors, digital bulletin boards, and a drinking fountain was a glass wall surrounding Hal forming a secure area where extra clearance was required to enter. The group lined up and peered into the sterile-looking room filled with big, slategrey, metal boxes covered in blinking lights.

"Oh, there they are!" Sarah exclaimed as she pointed down one of the aisles. TabJi were just visible at the end of the row and appeared to be slumped over a small table.

"Oh my gosh, I think Jimmy is the only one here with access. We will need security to let us in," Enid declared.

Without saying a word Tinsley went over to the door and fobbed in.

Enid shrugged, "Or not."

The group followed Tinsley into the buzzing inner-sanctum. When Tinsley rounded the corner, she said softly, "Tabby, Jimmy, are you okay?"

TabJi looked weakly up at her and mumbled in unison, "It was the Barge."

Daejoon circled around and draped blankets over them, while Tinsley moved to sit down between them. "The Barge?" Tinsley said with an inquisitive tone.

With a frail voice, Tabitha explained, "Yes, we tried to design a scissor-lift rack that we could mount on the Barge to lift LuLu Belle, so the children could see her." She then let out a small, crazy laugh and dropped her forehead wearily back on the table.

Jimmy took over the explanation and told a tale of lofty ideas and mind-boggling math problems — an epic struggle that ultimately ended in failure. "We tried, Tinsley," he said solemnly. "We gave it our best, but the numbers just wouldn't add up."

Tinsley wailed, "Heol, I really did push you too hard! Jimmy, I never meant for you to be caught up in this, and Tabby, you have always been there for me and now look what I have done!"

The group gathered closer to TabJi while Jisook's crew filmed the heart-wrenching moment.

The mournful silence was suddenly broken by the ringing of Tabitha's phone. She lifted her head, looked at the screen, and whispered, "It's Kari." She answered in a strangely perky tone, "’Sup, Legs?"

Tinsley's expression changed and she blurted out "Legs?!"

Tabitha slid the phone away from her ear and said, "Yea, did you see that picture of her in those capri pants!"

Tinsley's expression became one of contempt and she started to say something, but Tabitha held her finger up to Tinsley's lips and said, "Shh, shh, hold that thought, Buttercup."

When she finished her call, Tabitha addressed the group. "Okay, the deal is that about two hours ago, Jimmy and I realised that we could just use a container forklift to move LuLu Belle around. (Bess looked a bit smug when she heard this.) I tried to call Tinsley to let her know, but she didn't answer, so Jimmy and I have just been hanging out here and chatting."

Tinsley looked down at her phone and realised she had, in fact, missed a call and had a message. Tabitha went on, "At any rate, Kari called me a couple of minutes ago to find out where we were, so we knew that you were coming, and we decided to play a little joke on Tinsley for forgetting about us. But, I am cutting her punishment short because Kari just called again to let us know that Dream Catcher's hatching out on V-Live starts in ten minutes."

With virtually no expression. Tinsley responded to Tabitha's announcement,, "So you guys aren't done in, you have a solution for Peeping LuLu, this little show was just to punish me for forgetting about you, and Dream Catcher is hatching out in ten minutes?"

Tabitha smiled at her and matter-of-factly replied, "That would be the case."

Tinsley pondered this for a moment and then chirped, "Cool. It seems like everything is back on track, so can we go watch V-Live now?"

Since they were filming, Tabitha looked to EinBeSook for their buy-in. EinBe were both fine with it and Jisook was at a loss for words, so the girls happily filed out of the computer lab.

Outside in the chilly air, they said goodnight to Jimmy, who tiredly decided to watch the hatching in his own dorm. With only five minutes to spare, the girls grabbed Jisook and raced up the hill to Crumpet Hall.

Having effectively been abandoned, Bess and Enid leisurely sauntered up the hill. "Did any of that make sense to you?" Bess asked Enid.

"No, and I can only imagine how confused Jisook is at this moment," Enid replied. “But then again, she seems to already understand their ways better than I do and I have been exposed to it for years now."

Bess nodded in agreement.

Then suddenly, and rather mischievously, Enid said, "They are definitely 4D, but they are so extra I just can't." With that, she launched into singing Twice's "TT" (although she had most of it wrong), and skipped up the path.

Bess shook her head and thought, "Great, now the only person I have to talk to is Dean Eobseo, and he isn't exactly what I would call ‘normal.’"
